COVID-19 Update July 23, 2020

We just completed another successful webinar where we reviewed the most pressing issues many businesses are facing today. The Senate Republicans have expressed their ideas for the starting point in negotiations for a bill that should be hammered out by early next week. If you’d like to hear the rumored details that we gathered from insiders on the Hill, the recording and slides from this webinar should be posted to our website within 48 hours.

The Department of Labor (DOL) has issued two new notices about the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA), one for employer’s rights and one for employee’s rights that includes a new poster along with guidance on how this poster must be displayed. Here is SHRM’s guide for navigating state and federal employee leave rights during the pandemic to help with understanding this new policy update.

The DHS has issued a new rule allowing the current flexibility for I-9’s to continue for another 30 days through August 17th. For Delta Clients, quarterly taxes have been uploaded to the portal under “Client Documents” for your immediate access.

If you have any questions about what was discussed on the webinar today or need any COVID-19 related help, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
