COVID-19 Update March 29, 2020

Lots of new info to share to help you get the information needed for these new laws.

Coronavirus Emergency Loans Small Business Guide and Checklist – This is a quick guide from the US Chamber of commerce of how the Small Business Loan process works. (4 pages)

Labor Department COVID-19 Curveball – the agency appears to suggest that employees who cannot work because their businesses are subject to a government shutdown order or they are ordered to shelter at home will not qualify for Emergency Paid Sick Leave or Emergency FMLA. (5 pages)

DAS NSC Social Distancing Tips – our Safety Manager, Teddy Young, has put together several 1-page documents that you can share internally giving you and your employees key tips for safe working conditions in this new environment. (7 pages)

DAS Summary of Cares Act – this gives everyone the core of the new Act (5 pages)
