COVID-19 Update March 25, 2020

Today’s update:

Been on the phone all day and in webinars or conference calls about both the law passed last week and the new stimulus bill that has not been completed yet.
Early this morning I saw a version of the SBA loan and the forgiveness plan that passed in the early hours this morning. Since that time 4 other version have been introduced in the house. I hesitate to share anything until we have the final law signed by the President into law.

Below is a link to download the new labor poster that needs to be printed and put on the wall next to all your other labor posters about the new leaves that are effective April 1st. Please make sure you have someone in your office post this before the end of March.

We have also included a download link to a second flyer about a new benefit we are offering to our clients on our discounted plan, Teledoc. Many companies are trying to cut back on benefits, this may be a way to take care of your people and differentiate yourselves at cost much less than a blown medical plan.

Teledoc is just what it sounds like — it’s a benefit you can offer all your part-time and full-time staff giving them the ability to get doctor access from home. These docs can even write non-narcotic prescriptions and most of it is done either through sending pictures or through a service like facetime where you can talk and see each other.

This is a perfect health benefit for anyone that is quarantined or is working from home. The plan is per household, so all immediate family can get signed up one time including a spouse and all children.
