Dustin Catrambone, Louisiana resident and Director of Safety Risk Management for Delta Personnel, Inc. (DPI) and Delta Administrative Services (DAS) is a leader in workplace safety. With over 19 years of experience in safety management, he brings an understanding of risk mitigation and an interest in building a culture of employer/employee safety to the DAS and DPI teams.
Unlike many HR and staffing agencies, DAS and DPI have benefited from having a risk management director on staff to service the needs of their clients. Job site inspections, safety training and comprehensive risk assessments are critical tasks handled by Catrambone, who not only works to protect each company’s business interest but to provide clients with the information and expertise they need to avoid workplace injuries and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) violations.
According to OSHA, employers pay almost $1 billion per week for direct workers’ compensation cost alone. For every dollar spent on safety, organizations typically receive a $3 - $4 return on investment. Safety prevention measures are essential to averting injuries and safeguarding business revenues and growth.
Catrambone’s role extends beyond on-site inspections and risk assessments; he provides internal teams and clients weekly updates on health and safety concerns from hurricane preparedness to fire prevention. His contribution to both companies has resulted in a reduction in on-site injuries, improved OSHA reporting and overall client satisfaction. In addition, in 2014, DPI was awarded the Temporary Services Insurance Ltd. (TSIL) Risk Control Award of Honor for achieving the highest total point score for overall safety performance.
In honor of National Safety Month, DPI and DAS would like to recognize Dustin Catrambone for his dedication to safety and risk management.
